What Happens When You Move Into The Unknown

As we wrap up the year, there have been a few things that occurred in my work that I have found interesting over the past few days.

One was an interaction with a Client, and the other was an interaction after a presentation I gave.

With my Client, they told me about how they were finding something strange occurring in their work.

They look at a lot of Research to improve their work, and they have been finding that the “new” research coming out hasn’t been showing anything new to them.

That research all seemed like information they had learned before, from one source or another.

They were struggling to find “new” things to learn within their work.

The other thing that occurred was after a presentation I gave.

There was audience interaction at the end where some of the participants wanted to bounce ideas, compare notes with me, and talk about some of the work that they do.

This is nothing I find to be strange, it happens often.

What made this particular interaction stand out to me was that I had one of the hosts of the event apologize to me afterward about the conduct of some of these audience…
