The Problem Of Quotes And Reconciling Differences

I saw a post yesterday from someone asking how to reconcile the different messages of 2 quotes.

Both quotes were about Quitting, but they painted 2 different pictures.

The first quote comes from one of the greatest Football coaches of all time.

“Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit”

-Vince Lombardi

From this perspective, Quitting seems to be REALLY bad.

Do YOU want to become a “Chronic Quitter”?

It has this implied meaning that once you start quitting, you tend to quit more often.

This could mean that your Goals will continue to get further and further out of your reach.

You may end up with nothing at the end of the day, or worse, at the end of your Life.

In fact, I was listening to something from Joe De Sena, Founder of Spartan Races, the other day.

(For those who don’t know, I LOVE Spartan Races, having completed a Trifecta every year since 2019, and having finished 2 different Ultras which are 50 kilometers/31 miles with 60+ Obstacles… so far)
