I live in the States, so "Freedom" is a common topic of speech and thought here. I have written about Freedom in the past (starting back to 2018), so I have thought about it for many years.

This post specifically was inspired through a book I have been reading about the persecution of the Knights Templar primarily by the Roman Catholic Church and French Monarchy and the results of what occurred after that. History provides fascinating insights when reviewed.
